New No Parking Zone

City and County officials have noted that folks are parking in the right hand lane on Live Oak Reserve Blvd., to drop-off/pickup their kids to/from the Hagerty bus. This is affecting the duration of the traffic light on 419, so they have informed us that they will be installing two NO PARKING signs and painting the curb yellow about 40 feet back (about the distance of the pavers) from the corner.

Work is to be scheduled and completed over the next few weeks.

We have invited Chief Chudnow to the September 21st HOA meeting to answer your questions.

OVIEDO TO AQUIRE ALAFAYA UTILITIES

Fox News reported that the Bond Issue WON.

3254 to 1836 or 64% in favor.

The Bonds will allow the City of Oviedo to Issue a bond and purchase Alafaya Utilities.

City will be able to interconnect the two reclaimed water systems within the City and provide us with enough reclaimed water for our needs.

It will be our utility, not a utility controlled by a profit making corporation that does not listen to the public.
